Getting Started

This page takes you from an empty wallet to your first swap on Glarex.

1. Add Robinhood Chain testnet

Any EVM wallet works. Add the network manually with these values:

FieldValue
Network nameRobinhood Chain Testnet
Chain ID46630
RPC URLhttps://rpc.testnet.chain.robinhood.com
Currency symbolETH
Block explorerhttps://explorer.testnet.chain.robinhood.com

Connecting your wallet on the Glarex app will also prompt you to add or switch to the network automatically.

2. Get gas

Swaps are paid for in ETH on Robinhood Chain testnet. Claim testnet ETH from the network faucet at faucet.testnet.chain.robinhood.com  before you start.

This is the chain’s gas faucet and is separate from the Glarex token faucet below.

3. Claim test WETH

The Glarex faucet gives you WETH to trade with.

  1. Open the Faucet page
  2. Connect your wallet
  3. Click claim

You receive 0.3 WETH per claim. Each address can claim once every 10 days, so treat the first claim as your working balance for the period.

WETH is the hub token on Glarex — most pairs route through it, so this is the right token to start with.

4. Connect your wallet

Open the app and click Connect Wallet. Glarex uses RainbowKit, so MetaMask, WalletConnect, Coinbase Wallet, and injected wallets are all supported.

If you’re on the wrong network, the button will prompt you to switch.

5. Make your first swap

  1. Select the token you’re paying with and the token you want
  2. Enter an amount — a quote appears and refreshes continuously
  3. Approve the token if this is your first time trading it (one transaction, one time per token)
  4. Click Swap and confirm in your wallet

Blocks on Robinhood Chain are roughly 100ms, so confirmation is close to instant.

What happens after a swap

  • Your output token lands in your wallet
  • GLRX cashback is credited on the same transaction
  • Your points balance updates once the indexer picks up the block, usually within a few seconds
  • The trade appears in your history and on the leaderboard

Common issues

“Quote expired” or the amount changed before you confirmed Quotes go stale fast at 100ms blocks. Glarex refuses to submit a stale quote rather than filling you at a worse price. Re-quote and try again.

Transaction runs out of gas Glarex adds a 30% buffer to every gas estimate because a swap that crosses a tick boundary costs more than the estimate suggests. If you’re overriding gas manually in your wallet, don’t lower it.

Approval succeeded but the swap didn’t run Approval and swap are two separate transactions. Wait for the approval to confirm, then submit the swap.

Balance shows zero after claiming from the faucet Check that your wallet is on chain ID 46630 and that the token is added to your wallet’s token list.
